I have some field mice that like to hang out in my bathroom cabinet (safe from my two cats). I finally today pulled everything out of it and figured out where there coming from. There are some holes in the drywall where the sink pipes connect. Some of the holes are offset from the pipes by almost 2 inches and it's very hard to get my arm in there and maneuver it, so I'm afraid I won't be able to just seal it with joint compound (The cabinet is fixed in place, under the sink). I could do duct tape, but I imagine they'd chew through that pretty quickly. Any suggested alternatives? Maybe I could repel them somehow?

Plug the holes with brillo pads. The metal hurts their teeth and of course they do not like the soap.

Mice can get through a hole the size of a dime. Sealing will help, but they can chew through solid wood. I would use foam sealant. (get an extra long straw) Set traps and catch the mice.

You must glue a thin metal sheet to the back of the sheet rock..

It cost alittle, but it would take years upon years to chew threw it...And they can chew threw it...

I would look to put poison around the outside of the house..or better yet get a cat..mice can smell the cat and they stay away..

Trust me a cat would keepnthe mice away..
