Real maple syrup, not the store bought kind. I am a wee bit spoiled as I have friends who tap trees on their land, and make the real stuff.
Last weekend I was at a brunch and we had homemade birch syrup.
Definitely yummy.

Yuck! I don't know what it is- the maple flavor, the consistency, or the richness- but I can't stand syrup. Butter and sugar only for me.
