yeah we're clean when we use them, but have you ever just used and used a bath towel for a long time? They get a little smelly. AND then the first time you use a clean towel, don't you remember how good it smells and feels?? I use the same one a few times before washing it, BUT they still get washed pretty frequently.

Because everytime you dry off, new skin cells are put onto the towel, along with sweat, as well as mold from the moisture. Ever notice that after a week or so your towel starts to smell?

Well, the water that come off of us is sitting in the towel. It becomes old and stall smelling, and probably could cause mold.
Also, im sure there are dead skin particles that come off our body after we shower. That need washing IMO.

The humidity left on them make them start to smell funky after a few days, due to bacteria.

yes, but unless you throw them away after you use them, I would hate to wipe with a towel that has been used before even if you just got out he shower, you have wiped your private areas and that's just nasty!!

Yes , hopefully. The towels still get dirty from dead skin,
oils from the skin etc...

Because they get wet and will smell really bad if you don't wash and dry them.
