Who said work is terrific??!! Most ppl just do it so they can pay their bills. I've yet to meet someone who truly loves their job, unless you count overpaid Hollywood actors.

try going without work, it sucks.
life is about having balance, doing something you love, and yes, society works in such a way that you get paid for your contribution. it's just logical, you need a system in order to obtain vital supplies (food, shelter, etc.)
it's just the way it is, man! good grief!
