It all depends --say a female wore all black dress and shoes she would be considered fab at a dinner party---black is the absence of color so if u wear it everyday I think u might be going thru a phase . To me a real gothic look has the make-up and body piercing and the black clothes.

It doesn't matter if your clothes are black. If you wear black lipstick, eyeliner, dye your hair black, then people while DEFINITELY think you're gothic.

If that is all you ever wear AND you dye your hair black, wear black nail polish and lipstick, black eyeliner.

No, it also depends on your make-up, your hair and your general attitude.
Photographers tend to wear a lot of black, too. Doesn't make them gothy.
