hello!!! just wondering if anyone knows when i should have my coil removed?? i had it put in almost five years ago and we have decided that the time is right to have another child.
when during your cycle should the coil be removed.... do you have to wait intill so many days after a period??? if anyone could help me that would be fab!!! thanks xx

a friend of mine had hers removed when she was on her period, cervix being open made it easier apparently!

any time in the month really, give your self chance to get over having it removed say a day then go for it

when i had mine removed they told me any time other than when i was on my period, then it took me 10 months to get pregnant. good luck!. just ring your doctors and ask them

no set day. but it is less icky for you and your doctor if you wait until after your period
