Well, your mom is the one with the problem, not you. Sounds like it's not something that's going to stop, if she's been like this for a while. If you love a guy, I wouldn't stop dating him just because your mom gives your grief because of his race--but it's your choice, and moms can be tough. If this is such a big deal to her that it makes you two fight all the time, then your relationship with her might not be great even if you stopped dating Mexican guys. Stand your ground and give her some space for a while.

no it's not wrong and let me tell u this ... u decide 4 yourself now...and if u like him allot then what is the problem??? yeah u should listen to u mother but in this case the only thing that u should listen is ur heart... so what does ur heart tell u??? remember this.... parents are trying to help u no matter what but in this case u have to help them understand this.... these are preferences... and ur family... is ur family...but think about it 4 a second... what if u get married to a Mexican guy...!!! u will still have ur family... but u have a family of ur own.....
so don't worry and try to explain to her that u love the dude... and don't get into a fight with her...!!! be calm about it....

Did you ever ask her why she gives that advice? Perhaps it's the specific boyfriends you choose, or their outlook, not their ethnic group.
Why not find some area to agree with your mom on, like a hobby, college, or hairstyle?

If you are no longer living with your mother, then it is YOUR life to live. Mothers will NEVER like the people their children date..its just a fact of life. But, tell her that this is YOUR life, and that addmission to it is that you respect all themembers of your life..plain and simple.

since you live on your own and if you don't have a ton of little ones and you act responsibly in all others aspects as well, she is the one that needs to respect YOUR decision and if she can't especially if you ever decide to marry a hispanic individual, then it's HER loss as she needs to learn to repect YOUR CHOICES.
