Art is the expression of primitive emotion through that which is physical. Beauty is that which gives us pleasure.

Art is an expression.
Beauty is an aesthetic opinion.
Both are subjective, art is art to the creator if no one else and everyone is beautiful to someone.

It's all very subjective, there is no one answer. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". To one person a cow chopped in half is art, to another it's a painting by Van Gogh... The difference is different for everyone.

Art means work that was created, designed, or assembled by people, in order to have some effect on the sensibilities of a viewer, listener, etc. Its purpose may be to be beautiful; but not necessarily. Some art's purpose is to provoke, to disturb, to challenge. Some artists may intend for their work to be ugly.
Beauty is a particular quality that we perceive in things. We may find beauty in art, but also in other places (in nature, in other people, in ideas). What we consider beautiful is strongly influenced by cultural standards, but there may also be things that we innately find beautiful.

Art is twice removed from reality(Plato)......The artist exploits the inspiration from his environment at any particular time and in that process it is removed from reality once and he translates his imagination and uses his level of skill to reproduce it.Then it is removed from reality for the second time.
As reality is based on time and space .......Beauty is not at all real because it perishes with time .And also beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.................And there is beauty in every thing but you need an eye to see it......
And as some one said art is not spiritual ...it is very much material...

Art is expressing and creativity, beauty is what one finds pleasurable in such expressions, whatever,who ever or where ever it may be.
