i thought it was quite amusing.................i must admit though, i found out quite a lot that i didnt know though

Yes and, in some ways it could be regarded as funny. However, for the people who suffer from sleep problems, or their partners, it certainly is not funny at all. To be deprived of sleep for a long period of time (or maybe just REM sleep) is serious and sufferers can end up with cognitive impairments (e.g. problems with memory, attention etc.).
The programme was interesting but did not give enough information - it seemed to be dumbed down. They attached the patients to equipment such as EEG, EOG, EMG but viewers are rarely given info about the findings.
The psychological aspects of the disorders are not properly addressed.
More info would make the programmes much better.

Must admit I have been watching and have found some of the peoples sleeping habits rather funny...mind you gotta feel sorry for the poor people married to them...the guy who kept trying to throw himself out the window was pure bizarreness, I did enjoy the womans funny little alien noises last night.

Why should you think it was funny. My husband snores and he went to the sleep clinic in Edinburgh and now he doen't snore its great. I'm not going to tell you why he doesn't snore anymore because you would think it was funny, its not its a very serious thing to be deprived of your sleep so there.

I thought it was really funny that man rowing a boat while he was asleep!!
I feel sorry for people who have to share a bed with em!!

This was crazy - I was watching it about narcilepsy and I fell asleep!!! Then I realised I'm always napping and it got me worried!
I couldn't help but laugh at the girl who falls asleep when she laughs, but I felt really bad for laughing!
