Hey. I myself had only one shot of that poison depo povera in May 2006 and I sure regret it. I've read that some women get pregnant during the shot, immediately after the dose finishes and also months or years after their last shot. To count how long it's been since your last shot, start from the month you were supposed to get the next shot. So for me, got the poison in May 2006, next poison was dued in Aug 2006. So 5 months after my last poison (Dec 2006) my husband and I first started trying to get pregnant. Since then until now It's been almost 3 months since we're trying to get pregnant but nothing yet. Depo should be known as poison and not a bc shot.

I speak from experience and agree with everyone else the depo povera injection is BAD if you have not had another shot DO NOT go for another one it caused me alot of problems such as extreme heavy bleeding after i stopped gettin the injections which made me weak and tired. alot of abnormal pain in my abdomen ( and i know i didnt have a miscarraige) my body was just fine b4 i got them but im good now nearly 6mths pregnant but took about 21mths after the last injection 4 it to happen, and i only had 2 injections i also took the pill after it too, to c if that would bring my fertility back quicker but it didnt work. So in answer to ur question i will say it will prob be a while b4 you fall pregnant, and if you want that to happen even though the waiting will suck and mite make you think in the coming months you wont fall pregnant be patient and im sure it will happen. it does vary from person to person sum fall in only few mths after others fall alot of months after but either way it does take awhile so good luck and i hope this info i gave ya has helped.

i do no longer particularly comprehend... are you asking if a woman who's at the instant pregnant, 3-5 months alongside, can get pregnant with a 2d toddler throughout a similar being pregnant? if so, no that isn't available because of the certainty that the cervix/uterus is closed off (mucus plug and whatnot) If whether you advise a woman who's had a toddler 3-5 months previously, particular it particularly is available to get pregnant lower back so quickly after having the youngster.

I got my last depo shot in december and I was pregnant by the end of march. I was told it would take 18 months to 3 years to become pregnant.

http://www.fertilitygal.com/Message-Boards/Infertility-Information-and-Support/Clomid-Cross-your-Fingers.htm says that one major precaution of depo is that it causes a delayed return of fertility. On average, it takes 9 to 10 months after the last injection for regular ovulation cycles to return. By 18 months after the last injection, fertility is said to be the same as that in former users of other contraceptive methods

Just from personal experience I would never get on birth control again, if I were planning to have a baby, Did you know it takes 10 years to completely get out of your system. They dont tell you that when you get on them, they are just ready to cram it down your throat, wish I would have known*
