I am craving some good fish & chips (I really like the waffle fries but not required) in the St. Louis area. What are some good restaurants?

I ended up trying Trailhead Brewing Co. in St. Charles. Pretty tasty! Still open to other suggestions, thanks for the ones so far.

I like The Scottish Arms for fish and chips, and McGurks, but The Tap Room is my very favorite.

Norton's in Soulard has really good fried cod. I know it's not in county, but it's worth the drive into the city. When the weather starts getting a little nicer, they have a great outdoor dining area out back.

Phil's Barbeque on Gravois or
Porter's Fried Chicken on S. Big Bend
