Someone in my competative fantasy league proposed this trade:
Ray Allen and Tracy McGrady for Andre Igudala
Is there any way to rationalize this trade as being fair? Seems really fishy to me.

Only way that should possibly be allowed is if 1. Either Ray Allen or TMac are out for the year or 2 its the 1st place team trading to the last place team to make the league more competitive. Even 1 for 1 that trade isn't close.

Allen is gonna get no playing time once the Sonics are officially out of the race, because the injury is still hurting him. So it is basically T-Mac for AI #2, So I dont think it is that horrible. Its nothing fishy, but you might want to consider vetoing it if you feel that Allen will be out there the rest of the year.

Ray Allen is an particularly diverse participant than Tracy Mcgrady yet Tracy Mcgrady is by technique of a few distance the more suitable positive participant. he's an particularly versatile participant who does fairly of each little thing to flow with his scoring ability. T-mac has been stricken by technique of injuries which has restricted his ability as a participant yet he continues to be universal a more suitable positive participant than Allen. Mcgrady performed on a bum knee for 36 video games very last season and nonetheless managed to everyday PPG 15.6 RPG 4.4 APG 5.0 SPG a million.2 BPG 0.4 FG% 0.388 feet% 0.801 3P% 0.376 MPG 33.7 Ray Allen became healthful for the completed season and averaged PPG 18.2 RPG 3.5 APG 2.8 SPG 0.9 BPG 0.2 FG% 0.480 feet% 0.952 3P% 0.409 MPG 36.4 Allen has more suitable positive stats yet no longer by technique of a lot in any respect. At one aspect in Mcgrady's occupation it became no longer a communicate of Lebron or Kobe yet Kobe or T-Mac. you won't be able to say an identical issue about Allen. there is also the arguement that Allen has to percentage his scoring with Garnett and Pierce yet this season T-mac had to percentage the scoring with Artest and Yao. i recognize ray Allen and that is not any knock hostile to him yet Mcgrady is a more suitable positive participant.

Yes. It was probably proposed when Allen was hurt, and no one knew whether he would be out for 1 game or the rest of the year, and McGrady is injury prone to start with. Iguodala is probably equivalent to Allen, so w/ injuries, yeah, I could rationalize this

you've got to veto it. The only reason they are sending them for Andre is to maybe possibly make it seem fair to everyone else. Someone is just trying to stack their team.
