not showing up to work later...why should a senior have to spend her friday at work....dont worry i wont get fired, i do this all the time.
the problem is other people do it and they get fired. on the other hand i dont.
so what should i do.....?
suck it up and go, or have fun on this friday night!?

i would say have fun but the problem is when you think its ok not to show up will be the time that you do get in trouble especially if people think you're getting better treated then the rest of them! just be careful and think that maybe 1 night to work is better than not having any job, you can always go out next week!x

Well why do other people get fired when you do not. I think it is unfair of you to expect to be treated differently/better than others. If you do not go in will someone else have to replace you? Will they be shorthanded and have to work harder because of your absence? If you don't want the responsibility of the job why don't you just quit? Is your daddy your boss or what? Ya sound kind of spoiled to me.
