i still have the firewall on ym computer. im only asking because sometimes it interferes with my gaming on xbox live

Turn it off while gaming, and back on when done. The Windows firewall should offer you protection for short periods like that.

There you go! Gaming is not considered a risky activity online. If your computer is turned off or offline while you are gaming then you have nothing to worry about. I use voip which can be hindered by firewall, so I keep it off. I am confident no one is going to hijack my ipfone.

As long as you have a firewall on your computers and you and your router is encrypted (I'm assuming you have a wireless router).
