My old library was very flexable on late fees. You could be a week late and they would just give you a warning. I moved and my new library charges 10 cents per day for books and $2.00 per day for videos. Is that a ripoff or am I just spoilled from the other library? What does your library charge? How many weeks can you check out something?

Books are checked out for a month.Ten cents a day late charge. Videos you only get to keep a week; I'm not sure what they charge for late fees.

But my library has a website where you can select books and movies and put them on hold, put your name on a list for stuff that's out, etc. And you can also extend the time right there on the website. Check out your library and see if they do this.

i became into in a similar concern yet when I realised I wasn't going to get the books lower back, I went to the library and defined and that they enable me purchase the books at a low fee. confident, I had to pay however the accrued costs could have been extra that I paid for the books. solid success!

Mine is the same as yours. Our check out time is 2 weeks. Plus i'm guessing you got use to that lenient library.I check out 50 books every two weeks (that's our limit) and so they know me when I walk in the doors, some of them even hide so they don't have to check my books out. I love the looks on their faces when I sit my suitcase of books on the counter!!!
