Pretty much anywhere. Postcards are good but pretty much any printed or even hand drawn image can be good. Decoupage used to be considered a 'poor mans craft' as ordinary household waste papers would be used to build pictures. Back in the old days it could take up to a year to complete a piece due to the multiple layers of varnish, now people tend to paint varnish directly over images which have been specifically created for the purpose.
