Well, it's already illegal in most states. So there's not a lot to eliminate. But I think it should be legalized. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Why do straight people even care? I mean, what do the ones who are against it think we're going to do if we're "allowed" to get married--take over the planet and make everyone watch musicals? Hitler would have loved this. Why don't anti-gay marriage people just paste pink triangles on our coats and throw us into concentration camps already?
Tired, and would just like to have the same rights as everyone else and marry the person I love!

With the exception of Massachusetts, we're not allowed to get married. Civil unions in some but not marriage. And no, it should not be eliminated or banned.

How about eliminating marriage altogether? Why should a private commitment be regulated by the government?

No I don't think that gay marriage should be eliminated from the U.S. It is a proven fact that it can be genetic, and how are you going to stop someone that is genetical in love with the same sex, that is like telling someone they have to change their race cause it doesn't fit in. That just doesn't work. It should just be excepted, we can't explain why it happens but everyone is different.

In Canada the former Prime Minister of Canada Paul Martin told his party members how they should vote on the issue of same-sex marriage, and it was rammed down the throats of Canadians , even though the majority are against ii.
In other words, it was not a free vote. Parliament was bullied by Gay Rights Activist which only represents 2 percent of the population

You're asking this on the gay section....
Gay marriage isn't even recognized in the US. Sure, a couple states do. Out of FIFTY.
What's the problem? What did that couple in San Francisco that you've never met do to you??
Live and let live.
