My own daughter is 13 and her periods haven't completely settled yet. This is quite normal for your periods to be irregular at your age, my own daughters period last time was nearly two months between it and the one before. As long as you aren't sexually active you have nothing to worry about, please don't take this bit about sexual activity to heart as children are getting younger at becoming sexually active.
If you worry about your period not coming then you can actually make it later just with worrying alone.
Talk to your mum or an older girl someone you can confide and trust in to talk over this (what can be embarrassing) subject at your age.
Good luck

It depends on when you had your first period - the first year can be very unpredictable but also if you are stressed or not eating that properly can make your period late and the most worrying reason would be pregnancy - double check your dates and try not to worry if you don't have it in another 7-10 days then you need to see the doctor - talk to your mum, sister or close friend or relative if you are worried

it is normal for it to be a bit late if you have only recently started your periods. I am still not regular and have been having periods for 10 years. However, if you have had sex (I hope not, considering your age) then maybe you need to be more worried. Talk to your mum, or another female adult you feel close to.

A lot of people, including myself never really have regular periods, infact mine nearly always a week overdue. A lot of people take the pill to regulate their period however there is side effects to that so i wouldn't advise it unless it's causing you problems. I wouldn't worry too much at all..unless you have had unprotected sex and therefore you maybe pregnant, otherwise this can be normal. Periods can be affects by stress, your weight and many other things, so don't worry too much.

all young girls worry about this but dont worry, only 10% of women have regular periods. your periods will be a little hay-wire until they begin to settle, however they may not. dont worry about them being late, everyone is different they will come in due time! and just think at the mo you are being spared all that pain!! hope this helps, dont worry about them. xx

Its perfectly normal for your periods to be late when u are going through puberty or have had them for less than two years. Unless u are having sex then u must see ur doctor. Try not to worry and talk to ur Mum about it. She was just like u once.

Have you had sex recently? If so take a home pregnancy test. Otherwise, it is ok to be irregular, especially, if you are new to experiencing your period. If it continues to be irregular you can talk to your doctor about it.

If you have no pregnancy concerns then relax .......don't worry will come when it's ready. If the irregular pattern repeats then talk to your mum who could then suggest a visit to the doc.
