Yes, it's all natural leather. So no harm done to the environment by making, using or disposing of it.
So-called "suedette" is a man-made material that is intended to look like real suede, although I personally think you can see the difference.

Suede is the other side of Leather.
You can get man-made Suede though.

Leather and suede are "made" but I think you mean synthetic. I think the "brand" name used to be suede-lux or something like that.
