Depending on the type of shrimp temperature may or may not be an issue. Also be aware that the goldfish may occasionally make a snack of a few shrimp, but other than that they should be fine.

There are some freshwater shrimp that have compatible water requirements: temperatures around 68-85 degrees F and pH of 6.5-8.0 and, as shrimp are peaceful, would not pose a threat to the goldfish, but the threat comes more the other way around in that shrimp can be a tasty treat to goldfish if they are not large enough to defend themselves. Try a full-grown adult of one of the larger freshwater shrimp, such as the Singapore Flower Shrimp that grows to 3 1/2 inches.

No , shrimp eat fish and fish eat shrimp. If u have a ghost shrimp then its still no cause the fish will get bigger and the tiny ghost shrimp wont and will become food.
