Well, because it has lots of mysteries.
If there weren't mysteries, then we would know it all and then it would be boring. The things that happen unexpectedly in ur days are the expressions of mysteries - things unknown, things beyond our knowledge.
See, why are the good movies and books the ones that keep one expecting what is going on and on? That's an example of what make life interesting: the mysteries.
Plus, I do not say "a Mystery', but mysteries. I ain't referring to some kind of God's stuff...

Because of the unknown. However, each individual in this world can create their own life upon deep belief, and this way life becomes even more interesting. Unfortunately, not a lot of people believe in themselves.

i normally only find life interesting while sedated and that is because i don't understand what is going on, normally life is pretty boring hence why i an doing this on a friday evening

Since Spanish is my native language, I would explain it better in Spanish.
La vida puede ser o no interesante. Depende siempre de la perspectiva del sujeto pues cada sujeto es una vida.
Un sujeto que continuamente se sorprende con lo que encuentra en su vida va a permancer interesado en seguir descubriendo. Cuando esta sorpresa se pierde; también se pierde el interés por la vida y se llega a una monotonÃa que muchas veces termina en suicidio.
Escribà mi punto de vista acerca del tema. Es un comentario muy pequeño, pues no por el momento no puedo extenderme por la falta de tiempo.
