You can switch to IE with this addon. and recheck
3. In IE6
Internet Explorer (6.0)
1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
2. Choose 'Internet Options'
3. Click the 'Security' tab
4. Click 'Custom Level'
5. Scroll down until you see the section labelled 'Scripting'
6. Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click 'OK'

There is a setting under security that turns this off / on.
In Internet Explorer 7, this is found under Tools -> Options and the Security tab. If you select the Medium-High level of security, you should be able to run Javascript. Or go to the Custom settings and scroll to the end to turn on the appropriate Scripting option.
There should be a similar path to security settings in Internet Explorer 6.

In internet explorer 7 Click tools- then go to Manage add -ons then click enable or disable add-ons on the next pop up that appear, after a new window opens, find sun java console and enable it on all the option, in the different pop up that you open, and your problem is solved, if you donot find sun java console then go to www.java.com and download latest version of JAVA for free, good luck

is it enabled under tools options advanced?
If so - you probably have some type of security software installed prohibiting you - or it is spyware related.
