Do you know that you can spell check before you submit your question or answer???

I can not believe that very few people know how to spell correctly!

You would understand if you came from a non -English speaking country. It is very difficult even to understand simple instructions and simple words. Imagine yourself learning a foreign language, let's say Cantonese or Tagalog, every single word, you have to use the dictionary; but you are right, those who know what "check -spelling" means should at least take time to click on it.

Also, Firefox automatically spell checks everything you type into little boxes like this. For example, right now I see a red line under "automatically," but I am going to fix it so that when you read this, it will be fine.

I know we are in an IM age, but spelling and grammar are still important!!

Yes, I do know that you can spell check your question before you submit it. I found that odd, the first time I asked a question. It just goes to show how much we rely on computers.

so what if that's the "in" thing to do. if you want to be understood by the majority of people, you need to spell correctly. unfortunately, there's no check for poorly phrased questions. the ones that leave you scratching your head wondering what they tried to ask.

Yes. i know it. But time is running so fast and we need to catch them. So, we need simple, easy words to explain something. U know, like SMSes. Oh, and one more thing, in internet, they also use its own slang like: LOL, BTW, ASAP and so on..

I wish others and I may use the spell check to improve the spelling :)
