Thank you for taking the time to interview me on Tuesday, March 6 2007 for the position of Medical Receptionist. As you get closer to the decision of whom to hire for this position, I would like to restate that skill and adaptability are the first two words that come to mind when asked to describe my qualifications. "Can Do" and "Will Do" are the watchwords that describe my attitude. I realized that I have the initiative, intelligence, and common sense that characterize success in this field. I also recognized that my education and employment experiences have given me a strong foundation from which to build a significant career. I enjoyed talking with you and found the interview most informative. The prospect of joining your team is very exciting. Hopefully you will consider me for this position.
Please let me know if you require any additional information. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you in the very near future.
Sincerely,

Just a few I think would be better. How about:

replace 'I would like to restate" with "please recall"

replace "I realize" with "I believe" and "that characterize" with "that contribute to"

"recognized" with "recognize"

after "the prospect" maybe add "of joining your company and working with the people on your team. I feel that it will be mutually beneficial for everyone involved. "

ok, good luck

I also recognized that my education.....
I realized that I have the initiative......

Take out "I also recognized that" and just start with "My education....

Same with "I realized that" Just start the sentence with "I have the initiative"

Other than that it reads very well.

Email it if you can - if you are going to fax, make darn sure the recipient is the person you want it to be - it might get trashed (especially if the recipient wants your position:

Good luck

That is a really great letter. Send it to everyone who interviewed you...I'm sure it will have an impact as it is very well written and highlights your strengths.

it is a nice thank you letter, but seems to be overkill for the position offered. I would take out the second thru fifth sentences, or at least tone them down some.

Very good letter and I guess I would mail it to keep it private.
