Many people like to work 4/10's. That would be four ten hour work days, taking Fridays off, allowing a three day weekend.

People calling off, getting their 3 day weekend in, possibly getting and early start on a trip, or just have vacation days to use, that would either be used on a monday or friday.

A lot of people go to and get off work early on Fridays. And some people get flex days on Fridays.

funny, i always find rush hour more nerv recking and bigger on fridays... what city do you live in? might have to move....
