Well, it is true that if you install service pack two it has support for larger partitions. But you created the partition @ 137 gigs before you upgraded to SP2. So the partition is still 137gigs.

The easiest way for you to solve this would be to type "diskmgmt.msc" in the run dialog of the start menu. From there it will show you a list of drives installed on the computer and the space available. On the 200 gig drive, there should show some unused space. Right click on that unused space and go to "format". This will allow you to create a partition using the last 40-50 gigs that are on the drive.

Keep in mind that it will show up as a completely different drive letter than the 137gig drive. You will not get the full 200 gigs out of it, it will be more like 187gigs total. But that would be the case if you partitioned the drive completely anyhow.

Another option would be to go out and buy a program such as partition magic to extend the current partition to the full capacity of the drive. But why spend money when you do not have to.

It may be a limit in the BIOS of the system board. What you can do is partition the first 136 gig as one drive and the remaining 44 gig as a second drive. (Or two 100 gig - or any other combo that works for you).
