They are possessed by the spirit of vandalism. It is part of the Broken Window Effect, a spirit that creeps into neighborhoods that do not keep their property up and allow thugs to roam the streets. When things start to fall into disrepair Vandals take notice and move in. Trash uncollected, broken windows not repairs and junk cars not hauled off attract the lesser spirits of this life. All corporate executives know about the Broken Window Effect, which is why they are sticklers for keeping property clean, well-landscaped and in good repair. If you want to get the ghetto out of the ghetto, then clean the ghetto up and then ghetto will move out and seek someplace to afflict. Ghettos attract crime because of the way they appear, not because of the people that live their. At one time every ghetto was a good, thriving neighborhood, but someone dropped the ball and stops taking care of things. A piece of trash on the ground became a familiar spirit because no one wanted to pick it up, and like magic other pieces of trash began to appear around it and no one wanted to pick them up, and before long the whole neighborhood began to look like a garbage dump. It all starts with a single act of neglect that continues to be neglected.

you have to remember that half of the population has a below average IQ. these people who act like animals, "peeing on trees to mark their territory", are about as smart as the self same animals. stupid people are everywhere and they tend to have the most children... who continue increasing the stupid population of morons who think that the crap they spray on walls has importance.

Kind of like dogs pee on trees, its a way of marking their territory, asserting their authority and making their existence known to others!

Hey, yeah, gangs and territory.
I saw on Fox news today that sometimes when a gang's tagg is crossed out, it means there's a murder on the way (or done already)
perpetrated by one gang gainst member(s) of another.
