i saw on the news a report on an area in london, it showed people during the day walking around the shops. and the thing was they were all black. this is not an accurate representation of the population, there are the same if not more white people living in that area, its just that at that time of day your not going to see many white people as they are at work. is this a racist report?????

The media is bias. They choose to report on black crime because people eat it up. It's just like in Toronto where I live. Statistically there are more shootings and violent crimes downtown but they only really report on crime that happens in Scarborough which is a very multicultural and albeit black area.

i dont think so...its just the timing that the picture was taken..if they had waited for more white people to walk by then that would have been kinda racist...and that comment you made as to "not going to see many white people as they are at work" is kind of degrading...it sounds like you're making an assumption that black people don't work during those hours..

i will get a violation for this,my own personal viewpoint, but drive around bristol's black areas, and you will see blacks everywhere, standing about like back home in jamaica.now we got a big somali population, and they do the same thing!sitting in a cafe, chewing their 'herb',which gets them 'happy'
but dont drive around till after 11.30,they dont get up till then!!
not racist but honest.my daughter-in-law is black.with her mother and sister they all work, while the father and two sons do nothing but impregnate women(babymothers) and deal a little dope.this is common among black familys i've seen in 'the hood'most of the women are lovely, most of the males are idle, and use the 'race' card why they cant work,or get an education.(the girls manage, are they not black ? )

No, inaccurate representations are not always racist. This was what was going on when they were shooting footage, period. If they had started saying how all black people are ____ and do___, that would be racist.

don't forget ignorant, they hype things up then seem to forget that real people have to live with the consequences of the stories they print-

if i was judging racial groups solely on what i see in the media- i would be left with the impression that
all whites are child abusers
all blacks are druggies
all Asians are terrorists

Classist maybe. Most stories come from the perspective of the upper middle class ... whether it's about the poor, or about the ultra rich ... the point of view is always that of a white collar worker.

Not so much racist, but politically correct and Liberal. Watch your tele closely. Notice how every commercial has to have a token minority anymore. Some whole ads are gushing with race its sickening. Its all about forcing the racial equality down peoples throat. What is happening is people resent it and start not liking minorities. The Libs are too dumb to see that though, they are too full of themselves with their touchey feeley feel good nonsense.

Everyone is racist including you I'm afraid, as your question suggests that white people are out working, whilst black sorry, coloured sorry, ethnically tinted people, are just wandering the streets.

Live and let live, is my philosophy. Newspapers, I despair with. Racist comments they come out with. Get a life.

Probably not. If the story isn't sensational in some way it is just shot when it is convenient and it wouldn't matter if there was nobody there shopping.
