Yes, but 90% of you don't have citizenships and there for can't vote... don't you guys have your own country?
I must be the only one who understood Mexican meaning "being of Mexican heritage"... all of you are whining that that they couldn't run. He never said born in Mexico about the president. However, he did imply that there were lots of Mexicans in the US, and if you take out illegal immigrants, the fact is there really isn't.

29 answers at the time I started writing this and no one mentioned that a Mexican American is running for president? Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico is Mexican American and has inarguably the best resume of any presidential candidate
Also, several people here have to take a serious look in the mirror, asker included. Most people don't just vote for a candidate because they're the same ethnicity, regardless of what people might think. Giuliani is of Italian descent, so am I, but that doesn't mean I support him for president.
If that's the way you think about minorities, maybe you ought to question whether or not that's true about yourself.

No- and actually you cannot count either. Even if the entire country of Mexico moved here the caucasion population would still out number the Mexicans. And if that happend and Mexico ruined the US, where would you migrate to next? Why do you think by moving all the people that create problems in Mexico to here is going to help the US? The US will just become a sewer the way Mexico is.

Well if you are speaking as someone of Hispanic background I don't have an issue with that. However if you are speaking as an illegal who just wants a handout then yes I have a problem with that. Go home and have a revolution in your own country! If you are speaking as a Mexican citizen here legally then no it's not, you need to declare citizenship -- can't ride the fence forever, if you want to be a US citizen then see the first part of this answer.

Actually I think its time for an American to be president of Mexico. Maybe the country could be straightend out so Mexicans would want to stay there.

One must be a natural born US citizen to be president. So, no it is not time for a Mexican or a Canadian to be president. Now someone of Mexican ancestry, maybe.

There are only 12% of legal Hispanics in the nation, so I think your numbers are a tad off. Only Americans citizens 18 and older without a felony conviction can vote, so you are still a minority.

Hey **** you mother ******, no Mexican will ever be voted into presidency. Simply cause their aren't that many Mexicans in America, no way for you ethnic bias to out vote right minded American citizens. Even Hispanic citizens will realize the backlash such a thing would cause. Obama's not going to win ****. Plus if a **** did become El Prezidente someone would assassinate his ***. If it caused a civil unrest people would fight your asses all the way back to Mexico like the first time.

No. Only Americans can be president of the United States of America. Check the constitution.

It's against the constitution to have a Mexican be president. You have to be an American to be president. You would know that if you had taken your citizenship exam and gone through the naturalization procedure.
