Ok this is what I have done so far. I downloaded the software to open rar thingy's (I am such a noob). I also downloaded 303OE-C.rar Now what do I do? I all I have is a USB cord. Do I need some sort of software to transfer all of this? If so what is the software? REMEMBER: I am new, this is all greek. I need as much detail as possible!

extract the 3.03 oe-c using "winrar" or what ever you are using to open the RAR files. now open the "read me" file included in the "3.03 OE-C" folder it will ask you to download "FW update 1.50 & 1.03" you can get the two from the same place you got the "3.03 OE-C" file make sure you do EXACTLY what the "read me" file tell you or you can brick your psp

Make sure you have a big enough memory card. The 32mb card is not worth bothering to try this upgrade.

that is the 3.10OE autoinstaller. You just plug your psp into your computer to a usb port, from the top port on your psp.
once the computer recognizes the psp, you can run that file and it will send the files to your psp. All you have to do then is on the psp goto the memory card (all the way to the right, then left one) and then at the bottom is the memory card. I believe there will be something similar to 'Run 3.10 OE installer' or something like that.

you prefer CFW to play ISO records. you may't get CFW on PSP version 5.50 until you have a Pandora battery and a magic memory stick. this technique basically works with PSP 1000's and older 2000s.
