Absolutely! Educators must pay the same rates for classes adn degrees as other professionals, and usually require 2 to 3 times the amount of education to work in their chosen career than any other professional except medical doctor.

However, the pay scale is so low, that most educators make less than two-year college grads (that's associate degree) in other professions. Some places in the US even have low-income programs targeted toward teachers so that they can get housing; otherwise many would be underhoused or homeless.

Definitely! With a Master's Degree I make about half of what people with only a Bachelor's Degree make in the business world.

I think so - my husband has his Masters degree - he teaches in public school and make abouit 40,000 a year.
