I run the Wii on a wide-screen TV. After turning on the Wii, I have to set the TV to stretch the picture - that's fine and normal, from what I hear (the Wii does not pre-stretch it for you, why I don't know). When I use the Internet channel, and also during some cut scenes in Zelda, the TV screen goes all kaflooey and then comes back in unstretched 4:3 mode. This is very frustrating during Zelda, and it makes the Internet channel completely unusable.

Here is how my system is hooked up: Wii --> System Selector Pro --> Denon AVR --> Sony Bravia XBR2 HDTV. Component cables the whole way.

Has anyone had this same problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

tazz - the Wii is indeed set to widescreen. It operates fine in widescreen most of the time, but as I said above sometimes it resets the stretch mode on the TV.

It's automatic feature, don't worry about it.
