Beginning in 2007, most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.
In the European Union, Summer Time begins and ends at 1:00 a.m. Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). It begins the last Sunday in March and ends the last Sunday in October. In the EU, all time zones change at the same moment.

It's this Sunday, March 11th... the US government changed it for energy saving purposes... it would normally be later, around end of March or beginning of April

It starts this weekend. It used to be the first of April. Now they have changed it to an earlier date. Change your clocks this Saturday night.

it is 3 weeks early this year, starting Sun Mar 11 07...tomarro for us here in USA. no other changes that I know of...

it starts midnite sunday the11th and it is about 3 weeks earlier than usual--why? I don't know
