I have got a lot of pictures most jpeg's. How can I recover them I can't even preview them. There is an error: "image headers corrupted error 1004" but the filesize seems to be ok. Maybe you know software I can use to it?

the file itself is corrupted. you could try converting them with an image converter

Are these images on your harddrive or on a camera or removable media? Then again, I bet you're out of luck and the images are gone. Bad media = Bad news.
If it is your harddrive it is at least possible to correct the hd corruption and retrieve the data. There are differing strategies depending on the media the pics are stored on.

Well I know software that can retrieve lost files but it seems they are corrupt so im unsure but if you ever lose them use free undelete its freeware.
