I like both, but 24 is better because there's a lot more action. 24 tries to fit as much in a 24 hour period as possible, and Lost tries to take something that happens in 24 hours and stretch it out as long as possible, by adding more questions to be answered.
I think they are on like day 50-something now on the island for Lost, but we are midway through season 3.
24 has had 6 days of action in 6 seasons.

24 has been very strong consistently throughout its lifespan..... i even enjoy watching the old re-runs from previous seasons, thats how great it is.
Lost was a great show in my opinion for the first 2,... maybe 3 seasons..... then it became too confusing. The Storyline is solid, yet the plot doesnt have what it takes to keep you interested or keep you in suspense......
Prison Break which someone else mentioned.... is one of the greatest shows ive seen in a long time! if you havent seen it yet, you will probably be lost at first, but it will not dissapoint.
24 and Prison Break are the only things that I look forward to when it comes to television

24 by far, Lost is too confusing; I think the writers of it are probably unsure as to what's going on.
Also better than Lost and almost as good as 24 is Heroes; the bad thing is that it's on at the exact same day and time.

This should be in the jokes and riddle section,, with lost being the punchline,,, everyone knows 24 is better since it actually has a plot and storyline,,,

They are both good:but lost has the most original story plots.
And hardly any violence,just suspence
I love Lost and I like 24

As far as the current season goes, both have been disappointing. Overall since the first shows aired for each, I would have to give it to 24.
