Did the Dolphins choose wisely or should they work for their Offense

Porter makes the defense better, which makes the offense better. Trading Welker was a good move, because it produced draft picks. Releasing McMichael was dumb because you get nothing in return for one of the best TE's in the AFC. The Porter deal makes sense because it makes your LB's instantly better. There is a ton of offensive players available via the draft, so they'll be okay there. The QB situation is the most important. Everything else should work itself out after that.

I'm thinking Porter is shot...Miami, after Saban dissed them, seems to be making a lot of noise like they are desperate to win the Super Bowl this year, or something...They are going after Trent Green so what does that say about Daunte...and what if they don't get Trent? Daunte will play and he'll be annoyed that they tried to replace him...They got rid of McMichael which I think is insanity and they added Porter who I'm not sure will be a great lockerroom fit. And they got rid of Welker, leaving a group of misfits behind at WR...with a new coach, I wonder if they can all get on the same page in such a competitive division since the Pats will always be good and the Jets have reloaded with Thomas Jones. We will see.

Like Greg Lloyd before him Porter's best days are behind him. Porter gets paid the Dulfins get played so a 9-7 season would amaze the NFL and the pundits. The offense was the weakest link and it will have to be addressed in the draft.

I think Porter didn't choose wisely, i mean, this guy has got lots of talent. he went there for the big bucks, i mean, Porter shouldn't only care about the money, he is gonna get wasted there....he should have signed with a champion caliber team, maybe Colts, Pats, Niners but for crying out loud, ha ha ha with Dolphins, this team is pathetic, dont take it seriously, i aint a dolphin hater, i just dont think Porter suits well under Miami helmet.

Porter is a special proven player, and he's a team leader. If a team had the cap room and $ to pick him up they would be a good move in my opinion.

I wish he went to SF or Dallas or Philly anywhere but Miami/Buffalo/Jets.

Defense will be one of the best. Offense can be better, all depending on the oline and they need two get 2 WRs, 2 in the free agency. their whole 7 round pick should go to get online

Hank Goldberg reported yesterday that they are going to offer Donte Stillhurt, I mean Stallworth a deal today.

Porter - great deal. Miami will have one of the best defenses in 2007. Yes, the offense will probably suck again, but....
