I have an 8 year old stepdaughter who lives in CA, we live in NE. she has recently become afraid of tornadoes. I would like to send her some child friendly information before she comes here for the summer. I have searched sites such as national geographic, weatherkids, etc. all great sites but none have information that i can send her through the mail. Her mom doesnt have internet access yet so websites for her to explore arent an option yet. Any information would help us out a lot. thanks in advance.

You can go to these websites and print out pages and worksheets for your stepdaughter.

My daughter lived through the hurricanes in 2005, and we're in Florida. These websites helped us calm her worries after the storms.

Good luck -
