Yes as long as you do not hit the opponents hands. If the opponent is taking the ball out of bounds no you cannot hit the ball.

Sure, you can slap the ball out of your opponent's hands. If you do touch your opponent, you could be called for a foul, but either way, it's a legal play.

If it is a live ball, meaning in play.
If it is a dead ball, meaning not in play. Exp. Opposing team is in-bounding the ball you cannot reach over the line to knock it out of their hand (technical is given to opposing team). If the ball is held in bounds or across the line by the in-bounding team then again you can knock it out of his hands.
But if it is live, in play then swat away!!!!!!!

yes, you can, but i advise u to only do that if the ball is in front of you, because if not, you can very easily get a "reaching" foul

yes but you better be careful it depends on which way you motion is going. If you swing downward you might get a foul called on you.If you do it upward there is less of a chance of getting the foul called.

that depends on the refs. they may or may not call it because they have a different eye point of view then the player does. ummm i think its alright but then again if you slap their wrists or arms you can get called for a fowl.
