I'm rebellious anyway, and sometimes, because he talks about how real men like a challenge, and will always rise to the occasion i do..... is this wrong of me you think? and is it true that real men do like a challenge? if so why?

First, you have to understand that men don't like ALL challenges.
Second, whether or not it is wrong for you to do depends on your motive(s).
Men love challenges, yes. But we do not like chores...or nags. There is a fine line. We appreciate being challenged and pushed with encouragement and concern. "you can do it" is encouraging. "why aren't you doing this" is a nag. Challenges that can prove or at least display our greatness or our skills will be welcomed and we will rise to it every time. Challenges that don't are tedious and become a chore to be avoided at all costs.
If your motive to challenge your man is honestly for the improvement of him or both of you, then good. Just make sure your challenges are encouranging even if playfully mocking. If it's just to get what you want, that's called manipulation and men are keenly wary such things even if we don't respond to it immediately. Kind of like radiation, the effects are cumulative not immediate.
Women have this illusion that they can change a man. They can't. At least not by brute force manipulation and at least not truly. The trick is to change our perception of things.

If he likes challenges and doesn't resent it when you challenge him, I'd say it's healthy and ok. But, needing a challenge is not a measure of a "true" man (or woman, for that matter). Some people are just more competitive than others.

Some men do, but be careful. You could challenge yourself out of a relationship. I would suggest not to do anything that you don't 100% believe in. One thing men absolutely don't like is someone who plays head games.

That challenge could get you slapped around too. Be aware of what you wish for as you may get it. Yes men like a challenge but do you?
