The first commercially released recording featuring Frank Sinatra as a vocalist was with the Harry James Orchestra - 1939's "From the Bottom of My Heart", which was released as Brunswick 78: 8443.

Sinatra's first recording was with an orchestra conducted by Harry Mane - it was a demo, recorded in New York City on February 3, 1939 - the title was "Our Love", a Clinton, Bernier and Emmerich tune.

By July, Sinatra was recorded at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, with the Harry James Orchestra - the first recording featured Stardust and Wishing Will Make It So. But it was the July 13, 1939 Roseland recording of "From the Bottom of My Heart" and "Meloncholy Mood" that was the first to see commercial release.
