she didnt know there are resources availiable to get her out of the situation, now I have printed out some local stuff, but I am new to the area and we are located in New Orleans and alot of the resourses prior to katrina, are no longer availiable....please help I need to find womens organization close to get her out, and get her stuff and keep her safe..I need numbers of org's that can help her or meet with her and show her what to do, I have never been in this position, but I promised to find her a way out. Thank you

1. Call the police and ask them
2. Call social services and talk to them
3. Have her give to you any paperwork she can find b/4 she leaves
4. If she has kids that adds more issues
But she has to act like the house is on fire when she leaves, and grab the things most valuable to her.
I'm an Investigator, so she needs to be careful if he even thinks she's planning something it could go very wrong.

local is never good because he will find her. try a couple of states over or if she has family in another state see if she can move in with them for a while the internet is very helpful as well you can also go to the police if you can't get her out of the state and they can help her alot. If she is being abused the stuff doesn't matter. Contact the Salvation Army. They will provide immediate shelter, job placement services, counseling, etc. If she is trying to escape with her life she needs to leave with essentially the clothes on her back. She can always get more stuff.

honey, there is always some kind of women safe houses out there, you need to call a hotline, for abuse, and find out where the nearest safe house is. she will not be able to have contact with friends and family for a while, but she will be safe there and be able to get out of that situation.
