Have you ever said it while gnashing your teeth...saying to get past the day??

I've said it to a couple abusive people in my life for protection. Thanks for the compliment Jaden....you have no idea why I ask this.

No I never feel obligated to tell someone I love them. When I say I love you I really do mean it.

"I think that is the lamest , idiotic , not to mention shallow question I have ever heard." It has fake written all over you. "Nice."

NO! Never have.

No compliment here, just shell shocked so many can take these three words so abusively. Don't say period if you don't mean it.
Be honest about your feelings no matter if you have been hurt or not. These are by far the three most important words to ever be said.. Think about that. Then maybe you will see a different side to your question and my response. Or maybe when you grow up. :o) THOSE who know what love IS, never underestimate the words.

Well I had to because I was seeing some one and i wasnt read for the big i love you and he allready said it to me so days later he keeps asking how i feel and why i dont say i love you, so i said i love you just to make him happy when i didnt mean it, now i learned never to say something you really one feel and today we are no longer together, so just alwats tell the truth never saysomething that some one else wants to hear because in the end you wont be happy..

yes. when I was younger, Now I believe that you do a disservice to the people we say it to out of obligation. It's just better to tell the truth. No matter the cost :(

There was a period when I wanted to leave my husband, but he talked me into staying and trying to work it out. There was quite a period of time when I would say "I love you" without feeling or meaning it. It sucks.

But everything is okay now, and now when I say it, I mean it.

Yeah, She usually wants you to say it over the phone at work or when you're with your buddies. Oh, and "Yeah, me too" doesn't cut it either, because everyone knows what she's saying. I don't mind, flat out, saying it. I love her, she loves me, what's the big deal.

No, I've always been strong enough to tell them how I feel whether it's "I love you" or "I'm not ready to say that". I'm terribly sorry to hear that you've had problems

I feel obligated to say it sometimes.
To get out of some stuff you know.
It helps. Alot.

NO!

Never I felt to be obligated to say those beautiful words.

When I said that, was because of that.
