I was at the House of Blues in Orlando and heard a guy play "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones on acoustic guitar and he sang - it was amazing. A song that definately makes the acoustic transition. Give it a shot! Enjoy!!

arms will injury in the 1st 2 weeks, after which you may get used to finger positioning (extraordinarily IDIOTIC B CHORD!!!!!!!!!!) and prepare adequate power so as that it will provide the superb suited sound, too puzzling the string will ring to comfortable you get that placky sound you get from hitting a low priced plastic difficulty into something puzzling... Its basically the 1st 3 months you may get used to... in case you may get a instructor you will velocity up way quicker... I self learnt took me a week to get the B chord nail while a individual with a instructor can nail the b chord in an afternoon?? in spite of everything those annoying circumstances come the different area, singing and enjoying on an analogous time, you may hold the superb suited strumming trend and then sing jointly as changing chords at the instant....(a million month for me to coach) after that it would probably be no issues..
