At 28 weeks' gestation 25% of babies are breech, and the percentage decreases approaching term (40 weeks' gestation).
Don't worry about it. Your baby could turn anytime in the next 6-7 weeks.

I wouldn't worry until the day I go into labour. The baby can move around and around 1000 times in the next nine weeks. Too early to be stressing over this. Your doctor will tell you what position your baby is in next week. I'm sure your baby will move into the 'normal' birthing position in the next couple of months. Try to relax and enjoy your last nine weeks of rest and sleep :)
Good luck and congrats on the baby!

I'm 32 weeks and feel the same way. The Dr said it's too early for the baby to move into position! Take it one day at a time. DO ask the Dr so you can feel better! Good luck!

My son was stretched out sideways until about 35 or 36 weeks. You'll be fine. He's going to keep moving around in there for a while.

Come to think of it!!! My baby didn't kick me in the ribs. She kicked me in the side the whole time. Doctor said she was in position for a long time. IF you can imagine the baby head down and legs folded criss cross style, they would kick the sides instead of the ribs. Don't stress at all unless doc things he is in a different position.
It's really hard to imagine how they are in position in there, so don't stree if y ou don't know for sure.

I wouldn't worry, my son didn't turn until about 2 weeks before his due date.
This time, my little girl has been in the birthing position since 26 weeks, and she hasn't turned at all. At 31 weeks your baby has plenty of space still to move in, and could turn and turn again before your due date - that's what the doctor told me, although my little girl seems to prefer to be "head down" -lol!
Good luck, I'm 31 weeks 3 days now...

The baby probably wont flip until 35 or 36 weeks. If he doesnt, whatever position he is in at 36 weeks is the position he will be in at birth.

that may not 'into place'..... infant may be in any place they want up till approximately 36 weeks (this is around while they often get into their 'very final' place).... in spite of the actuality that, my son went from being head down my entire being pregnant to flipping thoroughly breech at 38 weeks so something is achievable.

He could be in the correct birthing position, but to ensure that he IS properly aligned for the big day, you could try sitting on one of those fitness balls a lot, this gets them aligned properly for birth.

yes the baby should be in position by 31 weeks!..which im sure he is :) Upside down wise!...babies move all over the place but when its time to deliver he will be just fine and ready to come out!..just ask your doctor and tell him your concerns, they will help you ease your mind!
