I think is a great idea because Kotsay is getting back surgery and he would be out for about 3 months. The best replacement would be in my opinion Bradley, then Stewart would play Left and Swisher Right and that would give Johnson and if possible Durazo some playing time in 1B. So i think it would work out well.

got to agree with Oak A's above. I am OK with it. He's played the position before. So it isn't like it is foreign ground or something. bradley is doing his thing pretty well this weekend. I like Swisher better at 1B if I had to pick a position for him. even former coach ron washington said that Swish is much better defensively at first base than DJ. So if swish is going to be in RF with Kielty also out for a bit with surgery, durazo and DJ have to step up and keep 1B going though. Or maybe Travis Buck makes the team? He's been on a hitting tear from what I gather.

He came up with Expos and Indians playing center. He will do great it will also get someone else into the outfield rotation Goleski, Travis Buck or long ter oakland A minor leaguer Hiram Boccachica which would give us more tradeable pieces
