What I mean is like who used to live there, what happened there, was their a small buisness there, did it used to be a funeral home, did a murder happen there, etc

any help would be appreciated thanks

Sure, Try the following:

-Try typing your street address in Yahoo and see what comes up.
-Also go to your local tax website and look up your place.
-Then also do Zillow.com
