This is NASA's website for the Near-Earth Orbit Program, which tracks objects that come close to Earth and may risk colliding into Earth.

The orbit diagrams will let you search for an asteroid or comet and give you an interactive diagram of its path that you can save images of. (for example "Halley" will show you a plot of the comet's path.)

Well, you can explore the rest of the site. Good luck with your presentation.

Meteorites do not orbit the earth. They orbit the sun or possibly are real travellers and simply passing through our solar system. In either case, they are not really coming down. The planet earth is just in their way. They are totally useless at changing direction (not unlike some motorists) and so plough into the earth's atmosphere which causes them to heat up. The small ones burn up completely in the atmosphere and the larger ones crash into the earth.

Use this information to draw your diagrams. You'll end up with something like a comic strip.

Meteorites are objects from space that have made it through the atmosphere and land on the ground. They are not and probably never were in orbit.
