I do all the time. My TV is rude, though, and never talks back to me. :(

You can and I do but they don't listen to you if they did they would have already turned down the volume during commericals I have been telling my TV that for years when I run for my remote to mute during commericals that are so much louder than the program I am watching. If they were listening all the prime-time popular programs would stop taking breaks and being repeats because three weeks out of a month I say to my TV oh jeez not again maybe they should change it to monthly TV shows.

I talk and yell at my tv all the time. I suppose like another responder says there is some system for interacting with your tv, and I guess we could call it talk, since I call chat on the internet "talk". I really yelled at my tv last night at the end of American Idol. And at the show after, Are you Smarter Than a Fifth grader...what is happening in our country?? (lol)

People are treating this like a silly question but in reality you can talk to your TV. Cable companies that have interactive cable will allow you to make program comments by voting, preselect programs and even shop. You will pay an extra fee for this service.

Yes if you want to i do it all the time but it doesn't answer back, of coures, but why not talk to the t.v if you think it is fun then i think you should do it just me.
