I know this person and I am not sure if this is love or what, but I couldn't reach him this one time when I felt sad and really needed to speak to him and noone else but him would do. I got really really upset I couldn't reach him even though I knew exactly what he was doing and trust him 200%, tis just that I needed to hear his voice... am I obsessed? am I addicted? I am trying to understand why I reacted that way.
(by the way, I have known him a long time... but we only got very very close the past 6 months)

Firstly descibe to yourself the meaning of love and what you think it means.
Secondly, why are you uncertain of yourself if you are asking if it is love then the feeling inside of you has told you so then why question it.
I agree when one is sad it is good to have your partner there to cry on a shoulder but if he does not know that you are feeling like this then sit down and both begin to talk more and be indepth with each other and get an understanding of how both tick and make sure the next time you want to talk to him he is in contact for you and of course it works both ways also.
To me, you love him very much dont let it go .

I have felt similar quite recently but then I got a bit too much of him and now Im cool when he's not around. A friend of mine told me I 'let my feelings get the best of me' and I'll be fine soon. She was right.
As long as you dont feel like this ALL the time, I think its a normal reaction to someone you have feelings for. Stay cool**

I wouldn't call it addiction, more like an obsession. You are so obsessed with this guy that you are unable to act reasonable when you can't reach him. It isn't healthy and can end up driving him away. You have to work at allowing him to have freedom and standing on your own. Good luck and hope you work it out.

I think what you experienced was perfectly normal. Everyone has feelings like that at one time or another. I think it could better be described as separation anxiety.

Love is patient, love is kind. If you`re impatient to see him, and if you`re jealous and won`t let him out of the house. YOU ARE OBSESSED....Just my thoughts.
