You may be. There might not have been enough of the pregnancy hormone in the urine you tested. I'd buy another test and make sure you hold your pee for a long time. Make sure it's concentrated pee, like the first pee of the morning.
Good luck!

You are not alone. I was due the 4th too and nothing and I took 4 yes, four negative tests. I don't know why you haven't gotten your period. If you want to retest, do but I would start buying them at the dollar store if you're going to test a whole bunch.

How do you feel? do you have any symptoms, or are you just all excited and anxious? Maybe you're late 'cause you're all worked up. I know I am. Can't think about anything else. I'm on here 5 times a day answering questions like yours and waiting for answers too.

I hope you get the answer soon!

that's all a bit tricky specially when u were on birth-control 3 months ago.. I stopped taking the pill 4 months ago and the following three months I had my period normally.. however the third month it didn't want to come and I was thinking I'm pregnant. I wasn't!! a person who is trying to conceive reckons anything strange as a pregnancy symptom.. well I hope u r but I was in the same situation and I wasn't pregnant.
Do u have any symptoms? fatigue, nausea, sore boobs??

I've been there...exactly. I had to wait an extra week to get my period. I think I was nervous and it was throwing my cycle off. Also, if you are coming off birth control, it might take a while for you to get a regular cycle. I would test again with a cheapie test, but don't get your hopes up too much. You are probably going to start a period any day now. You could be preggo, though, so test again.

don't give up hope. it could of been too early to test even though you were late. this happened to me before. I took several tests and they were all negative. home test can give "false negatives" if you think your pregnant then you can either retest at home or go and see the doctor and have them do a blood test.

any other signs or symptoms of pregnancy? maybe more trips to the potty lately??? that was one of the first things that tipped me off. good luck, I hope it works out for you. and if not this month don't give up... keep trying and have fun :)

It is too early to detect a pregnancy now...you have to wait at least 2 weeks. Try again 2 weeks from your missed period. Just relax and stay cool. Don't let your mind take over your body.

period can change from time to time!...for me it will sometimes be a 28 day cycle and the next would be 21~ its confusing but it happends...just wait another week or two and if still no period then test again!...if still nothing i suggest going to the doctor and talking to them about it, they will tell you everything you need to know, and even help you!
